Description

Nordmann Fir Christmas trees are widely regarded as a low drop Christmas tree because of its excellent needle-holding properties. These are the trees which don’t drop all of their pine needles.

We sell the trees in height categories just because the height can be marginally different depending upon how they’ve been cut down. It’s difficult to cut at the lowest point on every Christmas tree. However, we ensure that the tree is within the height category and in most cases it will be somewhere in the middle of 5ft & 6ft but always at least 5ft+. Each tree in the premium range has been hand picked.

Christmas trees generally grow at a rate of 1ft per year so this tree has taken us around 6 years to grow. In that time we’ve applied a lot of love, care & attention in order for this tree to meet our premium standards. So our customers celebrating Christmas in 2019 would have started within us planting a small seed in early 2013.

The 5ft to 6ft Christmas is often preferred in apartments or houses with limited space. If you’re really short on space then feel free to drop us an email to request the smallest tree in this category and we’ll do our best to hand pick you the perfect tree.

How long will it last?	It depends upon the conditions in the home plus the base you use. We recommend keeping the tree away from the radiator plus utilising a water holding stand.
Cutting down trees. Is it bad for the environment?	In our case its the total opposite. Selling xmas trees creates a stronger need for agricultural land. For every xmas tree we cut down, we plant a new one. We’re a carbon neutral business and we plant a tree in the America’s for every tree we sell.

Sent a few messages in advance of delivery date on Facebook asking about delivery time as knew would be out for part of... the day. Didn't receive a reply to last couple of messages, despite seeing they had been read. Sent message via WhatsApp 5pm on delivery day to ask if it would still arrive and was told they had rung our bell at 9am - we were in at 9am and our doorbell was not rung. I was also told 'We can only do so much when a customer chooses to pay cash on delivery' - don't offer cash on delivery if you are going to be rude about people who choose that option! I chose you because of your positive reviews but I feel terribly let down. My children and I have had a horrible year and all I wanted was a fun day decorating our house with a good quality tree. Used these guys for 4 years and they’ve been good. Last couple of years we’ve had late deliveries and such (as in... getting late in the day) but the trees have been good. This year completely different. Ordered early as we do every year to make sure we get the date we want, had an issue of our own making that we needed sorting and was; but then got multiple confirmations. WhatsApped and messaged on here but no reply. Finally today (delivery day) we get a call at gone 10am saying they had been having trouble cutting trees the last few days so couldn’t deliver. Offered to deliver on Monday but as we both work that wasn’t helpful as they couldn’t even give me a guarantee on time. If they’ve had trouble for a few days why weren’t we told earlier? And there was little in the way of apologies other than the offer of a bigger tree (if I’d wanted bigger I’d order it but a 3 bed semi is only so big!). Such a shame as we’ve enjoyed the service but this year it’s been dire and sadly we won’t be returning. We’ve been to a local garden centre and got a lovely tree and saved some cash.read more

I’ve ordered a tree from these guys twice before, and they’ve always been brilliant. I’m not sure what happened this... year, but the service was appalling and the tree isn’t great either. The day my tree was supposed to be delivered, I didn’t hear anything from them until about 6pm when I was told the driver was new, had been working a 12 hour day, and had decided to finish before completing all his deliveries. They offered me £10 compensation (which I’ve yet to receive) and said they would deliver the next day after 5:30pm, and that someone would contact me again. Nothing until I reached out to them at about 8pm and I was told they were finally on their way. It felt like they had forgotten to redeliver. Really terrible service, not what I would expect from spending £70. I will be going elsewhere next yearread more
